Sculptor. Born in Georgia; studied at the Copley Society in Boston (1933-
1935), the Art Students League of New York (1935- 1939), and the Brooklyn

"Shortly after arriving, Woods revamped the faculy to include
Bischof, Diebenkorn, Jerson, Lobdell, Kuhlman, and Nathan Oliveira.
The Faculty was fairly evenly split between figerative and abstract
painters." (Landauer, 124)
In the late 1960’s he worked primarily in concrete, making fragmented

suggested contemporary ruins in the aftermath of inexplicable catastrophy.
